We pride ourselves in having a truly international and diverse team, with each bringing their unique experiences and skillset to the Academy.

Wojtek is the Director and Principal Teacher at WPDA. He started his dance journey as a little boy in Poland, competing successfully and reaching the finals of all major competitions. Upon moving to Ireland in 2009, he quickly ranked as the best dancer and competed internationally representing the country across Europe and USA.
In 2017, Wojtek was awarded with the highest grades in his professional Standard and Latin exams and he now proudly holds full Irish National, DanceSport Adjudicator Licence. In 2020, he received the World DanceSport Federation Adjudicator Licence – the highest judging license there is for DanceSport competitions around the world. Being a WDSF judge, Wojtek travels to the best competitions in the world to share his knowledge with aspiring professional dancers, apart from adjudicating alongside highly esteemed panels. He has starred in a number of TV commercials and appeared on Irish TV shows. He is the most-loved teacher at the Academy , highly respected and looked up to by all his students. When not working, he enjoys going for challenging runs and wouldn’t say no to a good ol’ Sunday roast!

Elaine has been involved with ballroom dancing since age 8 having danced & competed throughout that time. Elaine has a BA degree in Business Studies and 20 years experience in the finance industry. She has been training with WPDA for over 7 years both as a dancer and teacher. In that time Elaine has won national titles in both UK and Ireland in adult & senior categories. Having completed her teaching qualifications Elaine now teaches both adult and children within our academy across all levels. Her children’s classes are a great way to introduce dancing from a young age through fun, music and dance. In addition Elaine places a big focus on helping adults overcome any fears of learning to dance or returning to dancefloor.

Being involved in the performing arts since childhood and having competed in high level sport since the age of 8, Rakhee is no stranger to the world of dance, sports and events. She brings to the team years of experience gained through her exposure to a multitude of events across the board. At present, she manages the Academy’s Ops and PR/ Marketing – she is involved in and hands on with all of the happenings and activities at WPDA. She began her Ballroom & Latin journey in 2009, has been training with Wojtek since 2019 and is an active DanceSport athlete. Formally qualified with a Master’s in International Business and Law, B.A. in Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Law, Rakhee currently balances working full-time in Financial Services with a Dublin based MNC along with supporting the Academy. Her previous experience includes having worked as an educator, one of her most memorable experiences being training differently abled children at Special Olympics. When not in the studio, she enjoys music & theatre, practising yoga and continues to compete representing her club in Badminton Div 1.

Elvin has been dancing for as long as he can remember and has trained with multiple world champions in both Ballroom and Latin. Some of his best achievements include being ranked in the top 20 in the European Championship (Ballroom), top 23 in the World Championships (Latin) and being multiple time national champion in Romania, Ireland and Bulgaria. Elvin has years of experience competing internationally, and as a teacher is proud to have helped some of his students achieve top-class world rankings!

Having begun dancing at the age of 5, Desislava has trained in Latin and Ballroom with some of the best teachers in the world. A hard-working individual – she has previously been 15 times National Bulgarian Champion, several times Irish Champion and 2 time World Semi-Finalist, making it to the top-10 in the world rankings. She began teaching in 2018 – her best achievement being training a Junior 2 couple to become national champions & world championship quarter-finalists in a short span of 5 months.
