As our amazing journey to international events continues, 3 of our dancing couples competed in the Maribor Open in Slovenia over the weekend.
This was also our very own Wojtek’s another international event to adjudicate at. And what a weekend! – from the start to finish it was such an amazing and eye opening experience.

This was the 19^th Maribor Open event to be held and it is one of Europe’s largest events with 3 days of world class dancing, over 400 couples competing, 34 countries represented and 25 international adjudicators.

Our 3 couples Justin & Erika, Sinead and her partner and Sean & Megan made a huge impact on the dance floor and their results proved their abilities and skills on an international stage.

• Justin & Erika were placed 6^th in both Ballroom & Latin Juvenile1
• Sinead and her partner were placed 4^th  in both Ballroom & Latin Juvenile2 and 5^th place in Juvenile Open 5dance Latin
• Sean & Megan were placed 1^st  in Junior2 Latin and 15^th place in the WDSF Junior2 Open Latin.

 

 

We would like to extend our thanks to both Alenka & Branko Bohak for not only organising such a tremendous event but also inviting Wojtek to adjudicate this great festival of dancing to share the floor with some of the best teachers and adjudicators in the world.
