Christmas DanceComp 2018

Well we did it, the best competition of the year so far……. On Sunday 9th Dec we hosted the annual Christmas DanceComp 2018. It was a great success with over 350 competitors throughout the day.

We had top results across all categories of the competition. See below our long list of winners & finalists.

We were especially proud of all the new dancers who joined us for their 1^st competition, all of you danced great and we are delighted to welcome you and your supporters to our dance family. We hope you enjoyed your first experience of our dance world.

Apart from our judges we had some other very special guest on the day. Mr Claus took time out of his schedule to visit all the dancers and he was greeted with lots of happy faces. We were also treated to 2 show dance specials so thank you Alessandro Bosco & Laura Nolan and Sean Smullen & Aimee Leek for dancing for us on the day. The dances were amazing to watch and really enjoyed by all .

A lot of happy kids!

Behind the scenes a team of dance ninjas ensured the day ran smoothly and ensured that everyone was looked after. A competition is only as successful as the team behind it and therefore a big thank you to everyone who helped in making the day amazing….. You know who you are!

We are proud to be ending the year on such a high note as a strong team of dancers and supporters.
We took the opportunity to launch our new school logo and tracksuits which everyone wore with pride …….. you all looked great! And of course we had lots of fun during the day being the crazy dance family that we are.

We ended the weekend with lessons and a workshop from Mr. Branko Bohak. This was a great opportunity for our dancers to learn from one of the worlds top dance professionals. Thank you Branko for your time and expertise, we will put all your tips and exercises into our future practice & lessons and we hope to see you again next year.
