DFI Awards Night 2019

DanceSport Federation of Ireland

Awards Night 2019

On 22nd November in the beautiful setting of Talbot Hotel, Stillorgan the DanceSport Federation of Ireland hosted the 2019 Awards night.

The evening was a great opportunity for our team to swap training gear for gliz and glamour and more importantly to recognise some achievements of the school.

We got awards across a number of categories but one of the biggest wins of the night was for our All Girl couple – Millie Clark & Amy O’Flaherty who won the Juvenile All Girl couple Award 2019 which was a great reflection of all the hard work they have done this year.

Our awards for 2019 were:

  • Most improved Juvenile Couple:  Justin Plesca & Madison Jones, Conor Shuo and Tina Song, Millie Clark & Amy O’Flaherty
  • Most Improved Juvenile Solo – Sinead Doyle
  • Most Improved Junior: Elinga Cizauskaite
  • Most Improved Youth couple: Sean Doyle & Faustina Calpanovaite
  • Most Improved Adult: Rakhee Rajasimha
  • Most Improved Senior: Sandra McNamara
  • Parent of the Year: Nikki Lynch

Well done to everyone who worked very hard to be nominated.

Thank you to DFI for hosting the event and for the wonderful show dances.

Now we get back to work for the final and biggest competition of 2019……
