In May 2023 a number of our international dancers travelled to Blackpool to take part in ‘The Open’. For some, it was first competition abroad and therefore an exciting trip to see the international world of dancing.

It was a tough competition with a high standard of dancing with many of our dancers making it to the finals.

Daniil & Mary Rose winning U10 Open Ballroom!!!

Lauren O’Dwyer – placing 2nd in both U14 Ballroom events

Sasha placing 2nd in both U8 Ballroom and Latin events

Our juvenile couple – Daniil & Mary Rose were also invited to be part of the Bulgarian National Team for ‘The Open’ Team Match. It was a great opportunity to take part in such a brilliant event and they did themselves proud with their team efforts.

And as always we had plenty of fun along the way, watching some of amazing professionals and rising star events and enjoying the sights of Blackpool.
