WDSF DanceComp 2023

In November 2023 we hosted and organised our annual competition – The DanceComp.

However, 2023 was a very special year when we took a huge decision to host, for the first time in Ireland – an Internationally recognized WDSF sporting event at our competition, recognised by International Olympic Committee (IOC) and International Paralympic Committee (IPC).

And what an event we had! After months of planning, organising, learning and hoping, the end result was a spectacular event with competitors from over 15 different countries and 3 continents competing in world class events in Carlow, Ireland!!!

We welcomed a panel of amazing WDSF adjudicators and world class competitors from, for example Croatia, Cyprus, USA, Bulgaria, Chinese Taipei, Estonia, Czech Republic, Ukraine, Poland to name just a few…

We would like to express a heartfelt thank you to all our WDSF colleagues from around the world who helped us navigate the first competition in Ireland of this importance and gave us so much support in putting Ireland onthe WDSF calendar. We could not have done it without you!
