On March 10th 2024 we took part in the WDSF Bulgarian Open Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria.

We were hosted in Hotel Marinela which was a wonderful venue for this competition and we were treated to some wonderful dancing from top couples and solos from around the world.

2 of our solo ladies took part in the WDSF categories with fantastic results!

Lauren O’Dwyer took the champion positions in both WDSF Junior2 Standard and Junior2 Latin events, competing through 4 rounds against dancers from Italy, Moldova, Macedonia, Turkey, Greece and Bulgaria.

Karolina took 3rd position in the WDSF Adult Open Standard and 6th place in the WDSF Adult Open Latin, which was a highly competitive final,competing against some of world very best adult dancers. Karolina’s final had dancers from Chinese Taipei, Bulgaria, Italy, Albania, Macedonia which made for a great event.

We had a great competition – thank you to our hosts on the day.

Now back to training for next WDSF event – The Thessaloniki Dance Festival 2024!!!
