The annual All Ireland Competition hosted by the DanceSport Federation of Ireland was held on September 23rd and 24th.

This All Ireland Competition is an exciting two day event for both couples and solo Ballroom and Latin dancers at all levels and it is one of the top events in the annual dancing calendar.

As usual our students made us very proud and demonstrated their hard work and talent by bringing home a large number of of trophies and medals.
We won a whopping 30 All-Ireland titles across major categories.

Each week at class our students show us their determination but it is after such a successful event that we can truly reflect on the success, whilst remaining focused for the next competition.

Our All Ireland Couple Champions are:
Sean and Megan (Junior 1),  Sinead and her partner (Juvenile 1), Han Qi Yu and Lilly Kearns (Under 6). This was the first competition for our newest couple formation –  Sinead and her partner, who only partnered 2 weeks beforehand – This is one new couple on the Juvenile circuit to watch out for and we are super proud of them both!

 

 

Our All Ireland Solo Champions are:
In the Under8 category – Millie Clark (Starter), Madalina Levinte (Starter) and Lauren O’Dwyer (Under 8 Girl).

 

 

In the Juvenile category – Hannah Rowe (Juvenile 1 Girl), Han Xuan Yu (Juvenile Boy) and Avah Wall (Juvenile Girl).

 

 

In the Junior category –  Cezara Oca (Junior Girl), Halle McDonnell (Junior Girl) and Megan Elliott (Junior Girl).

In the Adult category – Elaine O’Dwyer (Adult Lady) and Caroline Romanciuc (Adult Lady).
