The WPDA travelled to Bulgaria to take part in the International WDSF DanceSport Festival.
We were hosted by Grand Hotel Pomorie in a superb dance hall setting with a range of events from beginners to world class WDSF Juniors, Youths, Adults and Professionals.
There were about 500 dancers taking part in the festival from many countries:
Albania, Azerbaijan, Austria, Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova, Ukraine, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Croatia, Germany, Turkey, USA and more…

This was a great opportunity for our dancers to showcase yet again on the international stage their hard work and they certainly made an impact on the adjudicators and spectators.
6 of our solo dancers enjoying their finals in events with over 100 entries:
Our couples are also coming back home with a number of titles and finals of their International events:
In total our dancers came home with 25 (!!!) 1st place titles between them and a further 30 (!!!) finalist places.

Our director & principal teacher, Mr. Wojtek Potaszkin was invited to be part of the World DanceSport Federation adjudicators panel which was a great honour.
After all the hard work dancers and parents were rewarded with dinner at Traffic Kafe & Bistro hosted by parents of one of our teachers, Desislava Trifonova.
We were completely spoiled so huge thank you to Desi’s parents for looking after us so well all weekend.
And of course, some playtime was earned in the pool and beach by our dancers:
Tired, but extremely happy team is now back home ready for more work towards our National competitions starting next week!
