The Emerald Open Online Festival 2021

The competitive season for the new year began with the Emerald Open – Virtual Festival on the 21st of February.

Our students sent in video entries to both couples as well as solo Ballroom and Latin events across different age groups. It was a very successful set of results for team WPDA with all placing in the top of their respective categories.

Those who placed in the top 3 of their events were invited to attend workshops by Nicola Nordin and Alex Ivanets, both accomplished coaches from the UK.

These sessions were conducted online via Zoom on the 27th of February and focused on the Latin dances.
